Andrew became a part of Agpro NZ in 2000 and has witnessed the business go through numerous growth stages over the course of 23 years and ongoing. Before joining Agpro, Andrew was a farm manager in Hawkes Bay and has a strong agricultural background. 

Since his early days at Agpro, Andrew has taken on the forestry portfolio and has been enjoying his association with the industry ever since. 

Andrew’s involvement in the forestry industry has also led him to establish connections with the Ag Aviation sector, which is another industry he finds enjoyable to engage with. 

It’s not uncommon for Andrew to be up in a helicopter, surveying spraying operations alongside forestry managers—a unique perk of the job!

Andrew is married with two daughters and resides in Havelock North. He enjoys riding his e-bike, hiking up Te Mata Peak, and indulging in the occasional hazy ale.

Peter joined Agpro NZ in May 2007 after 10 years of experience with Coopers Animal Health.

Based just outside of Feilding in the Manawatu district, Peter spends most of his time to working with forestry companies across the lower North and South Islands. The remainder of his time is spent collaborating with farmers, contractors, and both helicopter and ground spray operators in the lower western North Island.

Originally from Taihape, Peter began his career as a Merchandise Salesman at Wrightson in Taihape. He later moved to Taupo to take on the role of livestock representative before returning to Taihape as Merchandise Manager. During this time, he also spent a season playing club rugby in southern Wales. Peter played 75 NPC representative games for Wanganui and King Country across all three divisions, contributing to three NPC championship teams.

Now a bit older, Peter stays active by hunting and cycling to maintain his fitness.

With 25 years of experience in the rural industry, Steve is based in Papamoa and covers the area from Rotorua northward

Having spent 12 years as a dairy farmer in the Waikato, Steve has firsthand knowledge of the constraints and difficulties in the farming lifestyle. Following his time as a farmer, Steve transitioned into a role as a Technical Field Worker and later became the Senior Technical Person for the rural retailer in the Waikato.

Steve’s passion for the rural industry drives him to support farmers, ensuring they receive the best possible solutions to achieve optimal outcomes.

In late 2023, Steve joined Agpro NZ as the Northern North Island Representative, where he has been pivotal in providing support and expertise to the region.

Lyndal joined Agpro NZ in 2013 as a Sales Coordinator, bringing a strong background in the chemical industry.

Before starting a family, Lyndal gained valuable experience in this field, which she later complemented by working in the education sector while raising her children. Once they were grown, Lyndal returned to full-time employment, becoming a dedicated member of the Agpro Team.

Lyndal’s passion lies in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the growth and success of the company. Lyndal takes pride in being actively involved in generating new ideas and collaborating with a team that shares the same vision.

Outside of work, Lyndal enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. She finds joy in being out on the water, supporting the Warriors, and exploring new travel destinations.
